Crockard now fifth after Mallory
PBM Kawasaki rider Gordon Crockard finished an impressive sixth place overall at
Onboard his Kawasaki-backed KX450F machine, The Crockstar battled to a best result of fourth place on the deeply-rutted track in MX1 race one meaning the Ulsterman now lies in fifth place in the standings after two rounds, just 30 points from leader, Evgeny Brobryshev.
Having spent most of his off-season in
Gordon Crockard: "I am very happy with the results from this weekend, the
I made mid-pack starts in races two and three and battled to sixth and eighth places respectively so I am more than happy to leave Mallory Park only 30 points from the lead of the championship.
The team is working very well and the KX450F is a very impressive package. LeoVinci supplied a new exhaust which has improved the power delivery and it's now up to me to improve my qualifying and starts and we will be in a position to win races soon."
